Maggie Bull, MS, LCMHCA
License #A20073 Clinical Supervisor: Laura Taylor, MS, LCMHCS (S4739)
Maggie works with ages 11 years and up, first responders, and medical personnel. She focuses on anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, emergencies, and loss.
“I help people who are struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression in their lives in a safe and nonjudgmental space. I will work with you to find the best tools to help you manage these feelings and lead a happier and healthier life. I specialize in working with first responders and their families to help them cope with the stress of the job and other life challenges. I have been a paramedic for the past 20 years and I wanted to become a counselor to help people who have experienced the trauma of needing help in an emergency and help those who respond to the emergency. I come from a family of doctors, nurses, firefighters, and law enforcement and know the importance of finding a safe place to manage the stress that go along with these demanding jobs. I take a person-centered approach to therapy and believe the client plays a pivotal role in the outcome of therapy. ”
Maggie received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at East Carolina University in May 2024, and she also holds a BS in psychology from Appalachian State University. She is a state-certified paramedic with over 20 years of experience.
A few of Maggie’s favorites: Spending time with my husband and two children: Jacob (11) and Stella (9). I also enjoy running, reading, and knitting.
