Jaime Wright, MSW, LCSW
Jaime works with ages 18 and up. She has experience with trauma, post traumatic growth, anxiety, as well as several other mental health issues.
“Do you feel overwhelmed with stress, as if the life you dreamed of is just out of reach? Do anxiety and fear impact your ability to be present and feel joy? Are perfectionism and self-doubt inhibiting your ability to get tasks accomplished with confidence? I have a passion for helping people grow to understand how their past impacts their present, as they work toward achieving their desired life goals.
With me, you will find a gentle approach that makes talking about the difficult things a little easier. I am trained in Brainspotting Therapy and Internal Family Systems, but collaborate to find the method that feels right for each individual. ”
Jaime attended Guilford College for her undergraduate studies, earning a degree in Psychology. In 2019, she completed her Master of Social Work through The Joint Master of Social Work Program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jaime’s professional experience includes working as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings, providing care to individuals across the lifespan, from youth to geriatric populations.
Getting to know Jaime: Originally from the Midwest, I moved to North Carolina with my family twenty years ago. I am the mom of three, nearly adult children, and love a rowdy, family game night. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, attending concerts, exploring local parks, and gardening. Our family also includes Talia, a rambunctious aussiedoodle, and Mittens, our cat.
